Local sources said on Saturday evening, August 22, that the explosion took place in front of the “Peywand” Market and that its sound was heard in more distant areas as well.
According to sources, three people were injured in the explosion. However, there is still no information available about possible casualties.
Sources say that following the explosion, Taliban forces arrived at the scene and moved people away from the area.
The nature of the explosion has not yet been determined, and no group has claimed responsibility for the incident.
This is the second explosion in Kabul over the past week. The previous explosion occurred at the “Sham-e Hedayat” School in Dasht-e Barchi, leaving dozens of people injured.
The Taliban have not yet commented on the explosion.
