In the first program of this visit, a meeting was held with the participation of Morteza Heydari, the Political and Security Deputy Governor of Qom, the Director General of the Office of Foreign Nationals and Migrants Affairs of Qom Province, members of the working group, and a number of provincial officials. During this meeting, the most important issues and challenges in the field of foreign nationals and migrants in the province were reviewed, and participants expressed their views, concerns, and suggestions.
Direct Hearing of Experts' Proposals from the General Directorate of Foreign Nationals' Affairs
Subsequently, a separate meeting was held with the staff of the General Directorate of Foreign Nationals and Migrants Affairs of Qom Province. In this session, topics related to guidelines, executive regulations, and existing processes in the field of foreign nationals were discussed. Experts from the Directorate presented their proposals and views for reforming, facilitating, and improving executive procedures.
Nader Yar Ahmadi and his deputies directly listened to the experts' perspectives and issues during this meeting and emphasized the need for serious follow-up on the matters raised.
Visit to the Salafchegan Special Economic Zone and Dialogue with Investors and Economic Activists
In another part of this visit, the Head of the Office of Foreign Nationals and Migrants Affairs, along with provincial officials, visited the Salafchegan Special Economic Zone and held a meeting with the CEO of the zone and managers of established companies to discuss issues related to the presence of foreign investors and workers.
This meeting, attended by Alireza Mandi, CEO of the Salafchegan Special Economic Zone, and the Director General of the Office of Foreign Nationals and Migrants Affairs of Qom Province, examined the most important challenges facing economic activists in the field of foreign investment and labor, and participants shared their views.
Field Visit to Production and Industrial Units and Issuance of Urgent Directives
After the meeting with the zone officials, Yar Ahmadi, along with his delegation, visited a number of companies located in the Salafchegan Special Economic Zone. During these visits, he directly engaged with company managers and economic activists, closely examining the issues and challenges related to foreign investors and workers.
After hearing the problems and obstacles raised, the Head of the Office of Foreign Nationals and Migrants Affairs issued the necessary orders for immediate follow-up and resolution of the issues.
Purpose of the Visit: Facilitating Processes and Strengthening Inter-agency Coordination
It is worth noting that these visits and meetings were conducted with the aim of field assessment of economic activists' issues, facilitating processes related to foreign investors and labor, removing existing obstacles, and strengthening coordination among responsible bodies in Qom Province.
On the sidelines of these visits, Nader Yar Ahmadi emphasized the need for facilitation in foreign nationals' affairs, support for legal investment, and special attention to addressing the concerns of economic activists and foreign workers. He stated: "Addressing the issues of foreign nationals and migrants is a serious priority for the Ministry of Interior, and through our field presence in the provinces, we seek to accurately identify challenges and provide practical solutions."
