According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, speaker of Iran’s Parliament, posted a meme tailored to American culture on social media, highlighting the various consequences of a war with Iran.
“If you think a war with Iran will benefit you, you are mistaken, because this choice will bring you at least 10 bitter consequences, ranging from a stock market crash and fighter jets going down to rising debt, higher inflation and an increase in the number of your soldiers killed,” he said.
He added that all the consequences would be bleak for American society. “You do not have to take this path, but if you make this choice, you will have to bear all the consequences.”
Qalibaf concluded his message by urging Americans to “break this fabricated matrix and walk away from this bitter game that leads nowhere.”
