تیم اعتدال، برابری و سازندگی به رهبری داکتر زلمی رسول حمایت خود را از تیم اصلاحات و همگرایی به رهبری داکتر عبدالله عبدالله اعلام کرد. داکتر زلمی رسول، رسما حمایت تیم خود را از داکتر عبدالله عبدالله اعلام کرد.

<div style="direction: rtl; text-align: justify;">زلمی رسول با بیان اینکه تیم وی حدود 1 میلیون رای از سراسر کشور را به همراه داشته است گفت: " موقف ما در دور دوم انتخابات تعیین کننده خواهد بود".</div>
<div style="direction: rtl; text-align: justify;">وی افزود: " تیم اعتدال، برابری و سازندگی برای دفاع از ارزش های دموکراتیک و به منظور جلوگیری از قطبی شدن و قومی شدن انتخابات به تیم اصلاحات و همگرایی می پیوندد".</div>
<div style="direction: rtl; text-align: justify;">آقای رسول گفت: مردم افغانستان از جنگ، تعصب و بی عدالتی خسته شده اند و خواستار وحدت و یکپارچگی هستند.</div>
<div style="direction: rtl; text-align: justify;">زلمی رسول همچنین تاکید کرد که یکجا شدن وی با تیم اصلاحات خواسته شخصی نبوده و بر اساس اصول دموکراتیک، با مشورت با اعضای تیم و با موافقت اکثریت اعضای تیم بوده است.</div>
<div style="direction: rtl; text-align: justify;">آقای رسول همچنین با اشاره به برخی از اعضای تیم خود بیان داشت که ممکن است یک تعداد کمی از اعضای تیم ما بنابر موقف شخصی خود، نظر دیگری داشته باشند و برخی دیگر نیز در حال تفکر و بررسی های بیشتر هستند.</div>
<div style="direction: rtl; text-align: justify;">وی ابراز امیدواری کرد که دیگر اعضای تیم وی نیز به تیم اصلاحات و همگرایی بپیوندند.</div>
<div style="direction: rtl; text-align: justify;">گفتنی است که در این محفل رهبران دو تیم توافقنامه ای را به امضا رساندند که بر اساس آن مبارزه با فساد، تامین صلح و امنیت، تاکید بر تنوع قومی، مذهبی و نژادی، به کارگیری از افراد متعهد و کاردان از جمله اهدافی خوانده شد که دولت آینده باید سرلوحه کار خود قرار دهد.</div>
<div style="direction: rtl; text-align: justify;">پیش از این؛ تیم صلح و باز سازی به رهبری محمدشفیق گل آقاشیرزی نیز حمایت خود را از تیم اصلاحات و همگرایی اعلام کردند.</div>
